The Control and Investigation Board (CIB) in Makkah is investigating two doctors for negligence and leaving the country after the death of a 12-year-old girl recently at the hospital where they work. The girl died in front of the emergency section of the government hospital in Makkah. The male and female doctors are alleged to have been negligent when treating her. The girl's father filed a complaint with the CIB on Wednesday and claimed that unnamed people were responsible for them leaving the Kingdom. He also accused the Health Affairs Department and King Faisal Hospital for not implementing regulations and instructions. The father has also filed a complaint with the National Society for Human Rights in Makkah. The Medical Errors Committee previously opened an investigation into the case of the girl who was allegedly denied an ambulance to move her to the Women and Children's Hospital in Jarwal District. Fawwaz Al-Sheikh, acting spokesman for Health Affairs in Makkah, said an investigation is under way. __
