Making a grand statement on roads
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 16 - 06 - 2011

JEDDAH: Suzuki, the Japanese automotive company, which over the years has built a market reputation for offering reliable, stylish and value-for-money vehicles, has once again lived up to this reputation with its 4x4 SUV Grand Vitara. This vehicle enjoys a dynamic spacious design to provide the highest levels of comfort and luxury both for the driver and the passengers.
Further, active safety technology in every Grand Vitara includes an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and stability control with traction control. The electronic stability program stability control helps ensure vehicle stability when cornering, during emergency maneuvers and when driving on slippery road surfaces.
Suzuki Saudia, the sole distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Saudi Arabia and part of Bamarouf Group, recently conducted a detailed analysis of the various features and specifications of the Grand Vitara 2011 to highlight the vehicle's strengths and help prospective buyers make an informed choice.
The Grand Vitara has a 103.9 meter long wheelbase – the distance between a vehicle's front and rear wheels – while the length of the car stands at 177.1 inches, its width at 71.3 inches and its height at 66.7 inches from the ground. It is important to note that the long wheelbase of the Grand Vitara contributes to greater comfort for the driver and passengers.
The 2011 Grand Vitara boasts 69 cubic feet of cargo volume when the 60/40 rear seats are folded for optimal storage capacity. The Grand Vitara rides on standard 16-inch wheels, and comes with front tow hooks as well as body-colored side moldings. The Grand Vitara's fuel tank capacity is 17.4 gallons, approximately 86.5 liters, and the vehicle offers excellent fuel economy.
Suzuki Saudia has maintained its leading position in the Saudi automotive market by offering unparalleled levels of customer service and after-sales to complement the quality, reliability and advanced technology of the various Suzuki models it sells. Suzuki is steadily growing in popularity in the Saudi market given the distinct attributes of this Japanese brand.
