Since its North American debut, the Suzuki Kizashi midsize sports sedan has earned significant praise from automotive media and consumers alike. With the release of J.D. Power and Associates' 2011 Automotive Performance Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, that praise has been validated once again with the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi registering the highest total overall score among all new purchased or leased midsize cars sold in the United States. The Kizashi outperformed 13 other midsize competitors to earn the top award in the category, including earning the top spot in more than half of the individual category ratings. The median buyer profile also averaged 10 years younger and with higher income than the midsize segment average. This recognition follows other consumer satisfaction awards including the announcement earlier this summer that the Kizashi topped Auto Pacific's annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) for the second consecutive year. "This is an important distinction that resonates across all key markets of the Suzuki brand, particularly here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The APEAL Study validates the premium quality and an unmatched performance of the Suzuki Kizashi and reaffirms Suzuki's commitment to product excellence and customer satisfaction. Suzuki's top ranking position in the study will help further consolidate Suzuki's reputation in the GCC and Middle East as a trusted and reliable brand in the region's automotive industry," said Maher Al Nabawy, Deputy General Manager of Suzuki Saudia. With sales up more than 55 percent this year in comparison with last year, the Kizashi is Suzuki's most significant entry to date in the competitive midsize sedan segment. Suzuki's Kizashi sport sedan is resonating with an audience looking for entry-level luxury without the near-luxury price point. Propelled by a four cylinder, 2.4-liter engine producing 180 horsepower, there is a choice of a six speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that shifts automatically for great performance and fuel economy. The standard features for sport sedan are 18-inch alloy wheels, ABS, leather seats, sun roof, cruise control, 6 airbags, dual zone climate control air-conditioning, steering wheel mounted audio control, CD/MP3 with USB socket, key less entry and start, parking censor front and rear, 10-way power driver seats with memory, 4-way power passenger seat, self-leveling high intensity discharge headlamps with washer, rear spoiler, Arm rest and sporty front bumper, lower grill/fog lamps with chrome frame.
