MEMPHIS, Tennessee: Sweden's Robert Karlsson bogeyed the last two holes Saturday to shrink his lead to one stroke heading into the final round of the St. Jude Classic. Karlsson, who lost in a three-way playoff here last year, carded a two-under-par 68 for 11-under-par 199 through 54 holes, just good enough to hold off the charge of American Harrison Frazar, who fired a 64 for 200. Frazar birdied three of the last four holes and had seven birdies against a lone bogey in the third round. Two strokes farther back was American John Merrick, who posted 67 for 202, one stroke better than two-time US Open champion Retief Goosen of South Africa. Goosen also registered 64, vaulting up the leaderboard with four birdies in a row from the 14th. Another Swede, Fredrik Jacobson, was tied for fifth with American Keegan Bradley on 204. Tseng grabs lead In Illinois, world No. 1 Yani Tseng fired a second consecutive six-under par 66 Saturday to seize a one-stroke lead over Mindy Kim after the third round of the LPGA State Farm Classic. Taiwan's Tseng opened with a birdie and closed with birdies on four of the last seven holes without suffering a bogey to stand on 17-under par 199 after 54 holes with American Kim one back after a 69. China's Feng Shanshan and American Brittany Lincicome shared third on 203 with Americans Wendy Ward and Juli Inkster another stroke adrift and Sweden's Sophie Gustafson, American Paula Creamer and South Korean Pak Se-ri on 205. Tseng birdied the front nine's par-5s, the first and sixth holes, then birdied the par-4 12th and par-5 13th. She completed a birdie sweep of the par-5s at the 16th and added another at the par-3 17th to share the lead.
