Ghamdi, President of Prince Naif University for Security Sciences, received at the university's headquarters in Riyadh Saturday an American Congress delegation led by Steve Shabuoth, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. Al-Ghamdi briefed the delegation on the university's plans to ensure security and fight terrorism across the world. He also discussed ways to form partnerships between the university and American security and academic institutions. The delegation toured the university and was briefed on plans to upgrade the efficiency and capacity of Arab security bodies and ensure they develop close relations with related international institutions. Shabuoth and members of the delegation expressed their delight that a specialized body exists within the framework of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council dealing with security. They also praised the university's role in fighting organized terrorism and crime. Al-Ghamdi gave the visiting delegation a collection of the latest publications issued by the university.
