JEDDAH: Saudi German Hospital beat Peeran-XI by 8 wickets while Saudi Steel Profile beat Cougar-XI by a comfortable margin of 30 runs in the semifinal matches of Division-I, which is sponsored by the ACE Tours and Travels and is organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). In the first encounter Saudi Steel Profile batting first scored a respectable total of 203 for 4 in their allotted 18 overs against Cougar-XI. Opener Tariq Jamal made 23 and his partner Imran Choudhary scored 60 off just 30 balls. Rana Shahzad made 57 off 27 balls, Zain Ul-Huda made 22 runs while Nabeel Hussain scored 18 runs. Imran had figures of 3-23 while Ali Waris had 1-60 for Cougar-XI. In reply the Cougar-XI could make only 173-8 in 18 overs and lost the match by 30 runs. Ali Waris top-scored with 61 runs.
