Saudi Steel Profile and Peeran-XI dominate in Division I for Ace Cup

Jeddah: Saudi Steel Profile and Peeran-XI came on top in the eighth week matches of Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) Division-I tournament, which is sponsored by Ace Tours and Travels.
The first match saw Saudi Steel Profile Company beat Saudi German Hospital by 67 runs. Batting first Saudi Steel could score 210 all out in 17.5 overs. Imran top-scored with a magnificent knock of 95 runs off 40 balls. Shahzad 41, Zain-ul-Huda 12 and Zain 10 also contributed to the Saudi Steel total. Asad took 4-38, Younus 3-28 and Irfan 2-48 for Saudi German Hospital.
In reply Saudi German Hospital team was all out for 143 in 17.3 overs. Asif made 36, Aftab 26, Younus 24 and Asad 16. Rana Shehzad, Imran Chowdery and Shahid took two wickets each, while Hamza Zain and Shahid junior bagged a wicket each for Saudi Steel Profile Company.
In the other match Peeran-XI beat Cougar Cricketers by 38 runs. Batting first, Peeran-XI was all out for 135 in 17.1 overs. Hamid scored 37, Shabbir 20, Naveed 13, Hanif 17, Sifarish 11 and Muneer 10 runs. For Cougar Club, Ashique picked up five wickets for 12 runs, Zahoor 2-22, while Abdul Rehman and Ali grabbed a wickett each.
Cougar Cricket Club slumped to a paltry 97 all out in 16.3 overs. Zahoor was the highest scorer with 19 runs, while Imam made 16 runs, Chand and Ali hit 12 each and Ashique 10 for his side. Shabbir grabbed 3-22, Hamid 2-19 while Mahmood, Afsar, Zaheer and Hanif took a wicket each for Peeran
