During the time in which Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Sauood Al Faisal delivering his speech to ministers of Organization of Islamic Cooperation and warning them from the external intervention in Iraq; Hasan Rohani, the Iranian President, has been delivering a speech in "Khoram Abad" city, close to Iraqi borders, and threatening that Tehran is going to protect the Shiite shrines in Najaf, Karbala, Kazimiyah & Samarra. The apparent difference between the two speeches reveals the extent of division in Organization of Islamic Cooperation which combines 57 states. This means that we are before an international organization which represents world's second biggest organization, after the United Nations, in regard to the number of its members. However, such multitude is not reflected in a power or influence in the world or even in the body of the organization itself. It looks like the said organization is not doing what it is supposed to do due to the different agenda of each of its member states. Thus, coordination and integration are the last characteristics by which such assemblage can be described, in spite of that its slogan is the holy Koranic verse "Hold on to God's directions and be not divided amongst yourselves." In this regard, the truth is that the organization looks unable nowadays to overcome its simple interfacial problems such as that establishing an office for any authority can cause a serious problem between the member states and a create a case of polarization in spite of that the decision usually taken by the Organization should be taken or adopted through consensus rather than voting which is a mechanism that makes it difficult or even impossible, sometimes, to take decisions. The Islamic countries should know that their present weakness requires them to work within a collective and united framework away from the private interests which cannot be positively reflected on all members in addition to that looking scattered is an evidence of their weakness which harms the credibility of the organization before the international community. The Kingdom has been making many efforts for developing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, aiming at achieving an international presence which fits the great political symbolism of the Kingdom as it is the country which holds the headquarter of the Organization, represents the source of Islam and the holder of the two Holy Mosques. The Kingdom has warned may times from using the organization for achieving any political targets and participated in urging the combining of some major and considerable states to the Organization as supervisors for providing it with more presence and influence in the international political scene. For the time being, members of the organization should preserve the least level of political coordination and urge the organization which adopts Islam as its identity, to preserve the culture that this religion urges us to adopt, in addition to realizing that the world is witnessing a stage of transformations and major alliances. If we look at the Asian East, we shall realize the existence of many organizations such as the "Asian" which combines four Islamic countries as members and prove, gradually, a strategic presence in regard to the political and economic cases in Asia – pacific region. The same thing applies on the states of Central Asia which are willing to develop their relationship with China and Russia in a parallel way. Then, we shall reach the West where Turkey enjoys a strong presence in the NATO. Such massive geographic existence of the Islamic states in such organizations can either reflect power and positive aspects on Organization of Islamic Cooperation but can, as well, reflect negative aspects on it through weakening it and leading its influence towards being nonexistent.
