The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was elected to the membership of the Executive Council of Arab Civil Aviation Commission (ACAC) by the consensus of all members of Arab member States. This came on the sidelines of the 20th meetings of ACAC General Assembly which concluded its works yesterday in Rabat with the participation of delegations from ACAC's 17 Arab member countries. On the occasion, Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) stressed that the election of the Kingdom to the membership of ACAC Executive Council unanimously by its member States, currently numbering 17 countries, reflects the importance of the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of international civil aviation and its prominent role in the air transport industry, thanks to support provided to the Kingdom's civil aviation sector from the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and the Deputy Crown Prince.
