Security of Arabian Gulf is one of the basic challenges which are facing its leaders and citizens as we are obliged to lead wars with Al-Qaeda of Yemen, the terrorism of Al-Assad and the newborn organizations in Syria which have adopted terrorism as a way for a long term war & Iran behind all of them which is not hiding its hostility and the dreams of reviving its empire. Such hostility has been declared through the tongue of Iranian clergy men, the army, the Republican Guards & whoever delivers speeches loudly on the platforms there. Even the declaration of one of its officials of that their borders stretch until Lebanon is not a slip of a tongue as it represents the dream of everyone who runs or participates in the Iranian regime. Chuck Hagel, US Minister of Defense, is going to meet with his GCC peers. We do not believe that the context of the negotiations is going to be easy or simple due to that there are stressful challenges imposed on our states related to the growing rising awareness of the new young generation about building the development of their states peacefully rather than living or witnessing the issues of tension and clashes. There are sources of terrorism rising from our countries which are being supported by external powers. Such sources are not expected to be terminated through our personal efforts only as such mission needs cooperation with the international powers, especially the United States, for fighting against the terrorism. After that, The Syrian Crisis enrolls itself in priorities list as the quadripartite alliance of Iran, Iraq, Damascus government and Hezbollah is not a political phenomenon of states which conglomerate themselves for peaceful reasons. Such alliance has been established for becoming a tool for worry and disturbance for all the states of the region as one of its basic rules is creating cases of disorder in GCC countries. Thus, before his visit to Riyadh, the American President has had a look at the most important issues exposed before him which cannot be solved by half solutions through political maneuvers or unfulfilled promises about a basic security cooperation that stops the Danger of Iran which represent the first base for the international terrorism. The meaning does not need explanations about issues that the United States have seen before and understood its facts. On such basis, the visit looks apparently an exploring one but is, in fact, a real showdown not only for intents but for knowing the extent of the major power's commitment with its partners through evaluating the whole situation and not leaving it under the mercy of political solutions as GCC countries have submitted a list of military and security requests or requirements and have preferred the Unites States to be ready for fulfilling them due to that they represent needs of deterrence rather than assault. In addition, the policy of the United States, especially during the second period of President Obama's presidency, has not been warm and frank the way it used to be before as the maneuvering game has been still going on. We are not against the interests of the United States but we do not accept, at the same time, that such interests are achieved at the expense of causing damages to us or making deal behind our backs as this is not compatible with our historical relationships with it. We are not requesting the United States to establish bases (in our countries), to bring its armies (to our region) or to launch wars on behalf of us as some (American) politicians have thought when he has said: "we are not mercenaries who fight on behalf of others for money"!! There is no Gulf State which declared such orientation as the support that GCC countries have sought has been providing them with paid for arms together with all providing all the requirements (from GCC countries side) to the American experts and trainers related to any new (military) power. We are not, after all, those who impose an embarrassing behavior on a superpower. It is natural that we may disagree and negotiate but our disagreement has never reached the level of rupture or boycott. The Minister does know the list of Gulf countries needs and their concerns. Thus, the best method he should apply is dealing with the reality through the optimal method to avoid leading the doubts about intentions towards disrupting the principle of mutual cooperation that, as we firmly believe, serves our security and achieves, at the same time, the interests of the United States in a region which represents maximum importance for all parties.
