In the past, we had been used to lead dialogues with almost the same characters of Arab media men in Kuwait. It had been normal that such repetition of characters and ideas had led the attendees towards losing their interest of following up such events especially if we consider that such practice is recurrent in our Gulf world. However, the State of Kuwait, under a successful administration by our colleague Madi Al-Khamees has made last week meeting a quality and successful one in regard to the various characters and various ideas discussed in it. This represents a great start indeed. There has been another good aspect which cannot be found elsewhere other than Kuwait as the meeting of the first part of last week has witnessed the presence of His Excellence Sheikh jabber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait who treated every one there with high respect. Moreover, the meeting witnessed the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, Minister of Information. The latest has actually been more than a Minister of Information due to his continuous presence in the various meetings which has witnessed mutual appreciation between him and the other attendees. As participants, we have been pleased by the presence of such important characters if high responsibilities who came from many Arab countries. The distinguished attendees have included who are directly closer to the positions which affect the positive media work. Thus, the start has been led by competent characters capable of handling it. There has been, in addition, collective direction towards many wise and genuine opinions by whoever has been able to provide the attendees with. For sure, every one of us knows well the nature of Arab World conditions in general. Such knowledge leads us to know that the initiatives of media opinions in many Arab countries out of GCC do not suggest in our countries the objective ideas that can impose the convergence opportunities. Another aspect is that our Gulf World is not witnessing the embarrassing and fearful troubles existed in the other parts of the Arab World. Thus, It has bigger concern in ideas wished to be objective when discussed. We know that there are precautions that we are trying to keep ourselves way from in our Gulf World. At the same time, there are justifications for the existence of many launches towards multiple gains in many fields. Thus, Gulf media have no fears in this regard.
