The reality of what had happened earlier
Published in Alriyadh on 26 - 03 - 2014

The last Arab summit that I attended with the Arab Media Delegation has been in Qatar. The start that we read its news and heard briefs about its requirements suggestions has provided us with a lot of optimism and hope of that the Arab Summit, regardless of its place, shall be the only action capable of imposing the required objective behaviors and opening of the opportunities of rapprochement between all members. Unfortunately, this has not happened as it had never happened earlier.
All of us still remember how the strangest governor or leader in the whole Arab history known by "Muammar Ghaddaf" used to force all leaders to delay the start until he becomes awake enough to attend the meeting! However, he had received a reproof from some leaders whose characters do not accept such mental deterioration. People in Qatar had been satisfied then when Gaddafi's life had ended in a bad way.
One of the funny incidents in Qatar's Summit has been that speeches of states representatives used to be too long in a way that leaves no time for an objective dialogue that improves the level of relationships but this has not happened. What has never been expected then was that Mohammad Morsi, the Egyptian President, needed around an hour while most of the leaders who delivered their speeches earlier spoke for period of time ranging between 10 to 15 minutes only. He had been the only one who had extended the time up to continuous sixty minutes full of exaggerations and explanation of his state's situation as if it is witnessing no problem at all and enjoying multiple aspects of development.
Where is the reality in such close past? There has been nothing of this then, especially if we consider that what had happened in Qatar's Summit had not been a retreat but continuation of disputes. We know, as well, that there have been some meetings which witnessed an expression of concerns and annoyance in regard to the reality of the summits, then, which witnessed an interest in practice of speech delivery away from renovation.
There is no doubt the State of Kuwait enjoy high morals together with its being a society of permanent connection with the positive good relationships that does accept the domination of any disputes. However, the problem of the Arab World is the various reasons for disputes in addition to the worse aspect represented by including the religion through imposing a special worship that include political belongingness stronger than the doctrine belongingness together with refusing the others.
The Arab World is in Kuwait today for renewing the Summit meeting. We hope that there will be an objective trend of a group of conscious concepts and rational thought for paving the way for the realistic and logic Islamic relationships in the future.
