Our national age is an occasion for our extensive and extended national presence, in addition to our competent experience with our national development stages. For nations of the third world, occasions that celebrate the national day always represent an attempt which reminds us how necessary it is to recall our belongingness during the initial stages of correcting wrong conditions or assuring our independence. The required targets have been achieved in some nations' cases but such achievement, regretfully, has not been achieved in the Arab World. As Saudi citizens; we witnessed many occasions in the majority of Arab countries. However, what has happened during long years rather than now, in the said countries was that their National Day occasion has become no more than a Reminiscence related to dreams that have never come true. In our country, we are the first Arab nation who has arrived to the date of its national day after stages of bedouinism, difference and several national wars that have been spread in most of Arabian Peninsula areas. There hasn't been a stage of historical presence for assuring the presence of stability or developing our living types (i.e. houses). We know that we had stayed in our few villages after Umayyads transfer of the Islamic State capital to Damascus & Abbasids transfer of the same capital to Baghdad, where our tribal categories were numerous led us to continuous conflicts, wars and poverty. These things happened since no less than 1400 years ago. Nobody can deny these facts & nobody can remind us about stages of positive rapprochement except for the times of the 1st & 2nd Saudi States. Our national day that our society used to care for and celebrate since its beginning until the day of the occasion was an extension for a development that had started through tough conditions and hard efforts. Deep consideration and wisdom practiced by King Abdul Aziz who was imposing the foundation stage were the factors that led to the success of the said efforts, in addition to the sustainability of development successive stages. These things all led us towards occupying the lead at the Arab level now. This lead is proved through the aspects of economy, scientific distinction, the numerous diverse educational missions & ability of the Saudi woman to prove her active membership in the state and community through her competence. The present stage which is witnessing social, economic and scientific development aspects shall, for sure, provide us with impressive results within few coming years.
