The dangers which are surrounding Arabian Gulf countries are not the lack of water and the demographic issues that may make the citizen in some of them a foreigner in his own land among the fluid of the foreign workers and Investments businessmen from everywhere in the world. Such dangers are not even represented by the case of water, after oil era or rise of the sectarian feeling. They are represented by "Bu Shahar" Nuclear Reactor which is close to many countries of which the closest are Kuwait & Iraq. According to many studies, the said reactor is classified among the first generation of reactors which had been built during the time of Shah. Returning this reactor to life by the "malali" (scholars of religion) has imposed the issue of its validity time. Even Russia which had rebuilt it warned from its dangers but seems to be not caring about what may happen to it now. We witnessed how many disasters happened because of the nuclear reactors in countries which have the maximum means of protection and advanced technologies. Chernobyl Reactor in Ukraine, at the Soviet Union time, which was the latest in regard to construction and technical design exploded while the United States and other countries witnessed similar accidents but did not declare them due to their fear from the local and international public opinion. The latest incident of which occurred in Japan which has started to reconsider the feasibility of the nuclear power in front of its dangerous results which happen in spite of all the precautionary measures adopted. Iran's capability is not equal to those countries in regard to scientific advancement and its issue in regard to building these reactors has become an issue of national dignity & obstinacy which is pushing it to enter the "nuclear club" as a superpower that owns such destructive deterrent. Regardless of the details of its conflict with the major powers; Iran does not care about the results that may happen if this reactor explodes or if some dangerous radiations leaked out of it. If this scenario happens; it shall lead the end of life in the Arabian Gulf and its becoming invalid for being a source of desalinated water used for drinking, in addition to the other consequences on the region's geography and the fatal results that shall remain for decades where the environment is going to become polluted and disease are going to spread...etc. However; we are not witnessing a serious reaction from G. C. C. countries, Iraq or even other Arab countries which are threatened by the arrival of the radiations to its lands. Even if this reactor has become subject to International Atomic Energy Agency which usually examines such facilities but for making sure that they do not constitute a potential source for making atomic or nuclear weapons rather than checking its validity level. Before such catastrophe occurs; I believe that there should be a summit meeting for all the countries which are subject to it, where they should seek the help of International Atomic Energy Agency and experts from all world countries for estimating the results, dangers and work validity extent of this reactor. It's an urgent issue about which we cannot forgive or accept silence in front of a threat that may occur at any time. We have not even witnessed a warning or a reveal of the reality which is threatening our future life by our experts and scientists, except for what has been written by a professor in last Wednesday's edition of "Al-Shark" newspaper. The alarm had been ringing tens of times and our carelessness shall cause us to pay many times double the price unless we face the situation with a determination equal to its seriousness. It should be raised worldwide and everyone concerned of the knowledge and analysis related to this issue should be joined before the occurrence of then catastrophe.
