Borders Guards Official spokesman Commodore Muhammad Bin Saad Al-Ghamidi confirmed that Boders Guards shall not tolerate in regard to applying the instructions and system related to borders security and close security control over them through imposing intensive penalties and fines on the individuals who break the law by crossing the borders, especially those who practice grazing or strolling or searching for "Fiqa or "Kamaa" (i.e. wild mushrooms). "The recent statistics indicate the rise of the number of persons in the areas close borders line in the Northern and Eastern regions due to the heavy rains which result in the plenty amounts of "Kamaa" and their illegal crossing of borders for gathering them in a way that subjects them together with their country's security to danger. Many of them have forgotten that the citizen should be the first security man and abandoned carrying their identity cars with them together with exploiting the women and children through their coming to the restricted areas for hindering the borders security guards attempts of applying borders security system on them," said Al-Ghamidi. He stressed on the importance of being adhered to the instructions issued by borders guards, following the signboards which states that approaching the borders area is forbidden & considering the danger of the situation.
