The Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense sent a cable of thanks to President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul reading as follows: 'At the end of my visit to your brotherly country, I am pleased to express to Your Excellency my sincere thanks and gratitude for the kind invitation which I had received from you as well as for the warm hospitality and reception accorded to me and the accompanying delegation, 'Mr. President, this visit provided me with an opportunity to meet you and discuss ways to develop bilateral cooperation between our two countries in addition to what had been discussed on issues of common interest in the region, and for the benefit of everyone, 'I commend your constructive comments on various topics of interest to our two countries, indicating that you are well-informed person and have great insights and visions agreed with those of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, 'In conclusion, I ask God Almighty to bestow upon your Excellency continued good health and happiness and the brotherly Turkish people further progress and prosperity.' A similar cable of thanks was also sent by the Crown Prince to the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
