A taxi driver in Spain delivered two fares to police after realizing they matched the description of two armed robbers he heard on a radio broadcast. The taxi driver picked up the two suspects just after midnight Saturday in Valencia, thinkSPAIN reported. Shortly after the suspects got into the cab, the driver heard over the taxi headquarters' internal radio system that another driver had been robbed at knife-point. A description of the attackers, who robbed the victim of all the money he had made that night, matched the description of the two people in the back of the cabbie's car. Without telling his passengers where he was driving, the driver headed to the scene of the robbery, where several police officers were still investigating, and the suspects were immediately arrested. The suspects, two Spanish men age 33 and 45, allegedly committed three robberies on the same night. During one of the other robberies, the two allegedly hit a driver on the head with his headrest.
