Is Iraq an independent or an occupied country? Is it sectarian or democratic? Is it a secured national country or a country which is fractured & penetrated by invisible forces? These questions are not related to him who is watching the conditions of Iraq through its daily scene while being out of it as the bombings have become a part of a crisis. According to some people, this crisis is held normal in a country which is overwhelmed by corruption and discrimination between the components of the Iraqi nation. However, the state considers them terrorist works supported by external forces while being incapable of reaching an objective and logical explanation in regard to them. It stands incapable of explaining how an authority failed, after the withdrawal of the American troops, to provide its establishments and people with security in spite of the abundance of money, human power and available experience?! Al-Maliki government dealt carelessly with the Arab countries, except for attending the plenary sessions, either due to the holding of ministerial conferences or for attending other meetings decided by the Arab League. Away from such meetings; the relationships have remained paralyzed, where the presence of some Arab ambassadors is no more than a cover for an incomplete attendance. The Iraqi internal condition itself is unstable where the conflicts with the opposition are massive as the latest demanded for withholding confidence in Al-Maliki who started, at the same time, another conflict with the Kurds that won't be settled easily and ended the scene by sentencing Tarek Al-Hasimi, the Vice-President, through a funny mock trial. What has been and is still going on is a recall for Saddam Hussein's authority time but through sectarian tool this time. Such sectarian rules are represented by depending on the Iranian support before the parties which do not agree about or are not consistent with the state's trend, on the one hand, and by deriving the support of Syria which authority has transformed from being a foe towards being an ally, through supporting Al-Maliki materially and militarily. This support led Iraq towards being a genocide partner with the Al-Assad's authority and shall lead to a long confrontation which is going to last to the period that follows the present Iraqi regime's time. It may not preserve good relations between the two countries as long as Baghdad's regime is supporting the killers. Nobody knows the Iraqi's identity or trend now. For the time being, it is a country which is witnessing or living the portioning trend where the sectarian mentality provides such dissociation. Iran itself does not hide that this situation serves its interest while the United States took its share through signing binding agreements with Iraq that makes it an economic, a political or even a military base for it. This means that coordination with Iran has been happening on the Iraqi land where the interests meet even if the situations, apparently, discord. Iraq is a country which is not confirming its Arab identity and is living a strange and wonderful state of identity duplication. South of Iraq has become used to speaking the Persian more than the Arab language now while Baghdad is the capital in name only while the real one has become Basra! Meanwhile, the security and military combination is practicing the dedication of the sole sect and neutralizing the non-opposing parties such as the tribes, ethnics and small minorities either through bribery or through intimidation. A national base cannot be built in a community where instability is prevalent as long as prisons are full with hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens and executions are being performed on the basis of probability and sectarian identity. Accordingly, each action entails an equal reaction. The incidence of bombings as a public practice cannot then be attributed to accusations that Iraqi citizens have become used to deny and mock unless such accusations are programmed with the behavior of the Iraqi authority itself! Iraq had been suffering for long time & dragging it out of its ordeal is one of the biggest challenges. However, preservation of the present situation shall lead to the continuation of confrontation between the Iraqi authority and the Iraqi opposition, unless the reasons change and essential radical reforms are applied to return Iraq to its normal condition.
