Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 35th ordinary session. In a press statement, Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, Assistant Secretary General of Majlis Al-Shura, said that the council discussed a number of issues on its agenda. Majlis Al-Shura approved a draft agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in the field of transfer of sentenced persons. The Council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and Turkish Red Crescent Society. Al-Shura also approved a draft memorandum of understanding regarding the bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria. Al-Shura council approved a draft agreement between King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. Majlis Al-Shura also approved a draft cooperation program between the Ministry of Water and Electricity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs of the Republic of Korea in the field of water resources.
