Some events are concealed by other ones
Published in Alriyadh on 07 - 06 - 2011

Why hot events in some Arab countries are hidden while it proceeds to lose its glamour: news started to ignore it while it was important to move the Arab inactivity?!
The Palestinian Reconciliation was confusing as the analyses consider the start of protests in Syria as a reason: a country which Hamas and Iran depends upon to make decisions. Hamas analyzed the situation and found out that accepting the reconciliation with the government is important as it is a normal conclusion of returning to the neutral party. Others consider that change occurred because the revolution concerns were internal more than Arabic or regional supposing that Palestinians will live in temporary solitude for more sensitive reasons than their own cause.
Lebanon makes step forward and two steps backward because the sides disagree upon the government formation. Hezbollah, as the basic motivator of crises, started to act as piteous person who follow the consequences of Arab revolutions especially in Syria. First things first, I suggest to start an open truce by letting the internal Lebanese issues for sides who represent the party dealing with the public and looking forward to an ally who will decide the consequences of Lebanese disturbs.
Sudan army colonizes Abey with no turmoil or Arabic or international attention except USA and some European countries who requested the withdrawal of army forces. The disunion of North and South Sudan was prmoinent while Darfur, internal conflicts and the condemnation of Sudanese President in front of International Criminal Court were concealed in the sense that the disappearance of these issues, although they are important, indicates that revolutions change not only to a governmental track but also a popular one by attracting the attention concerning the pre-revolutions events.
What are the next events in our region? Will some prominent events be concealed by new ones? For instance, how will we solve the dilemma of Al Hariry Murder in Lebanon, Arab-Israel peace and Sudan complications according to the new variables that ousted Tunisia and Egypt regimes and wage conflicts in Libya, Yemen and Syria?
The change in these countries will redraw the region map politically and economically because the other minor events in those countries were traditional and common long time ago. We cannot compare minor events in Lebanon to what's happening in Egypt nowadays as well as Syria because peace is related to the final consequences in Damascus.
The events of Sudan are synchronizing with Egyptian events as well as Tunisia with Libya. This means that the interests become more complicated than a mere change of priorities. Although the events are connected, the common relation is the new tempo of fast happenings in modern era.
