International meeting in Riyadh discussing the localization and development of electronics and photonics in KSA

King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology cooperating with International Organization for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) will organize the 1st International Saudi Conference for Electronics, Communications and Photonics Technology during the next 20-22 Jamadi Al Awal in Al Riyadh Conference Hall. More than 256 international experts will be there.
This three-days-conference will focus on supporting the equipments of development and scientific search in KSA regarding electronics, communications and photonics industry. Also, it will aim to connecting scientific and industrial corporations their counterpart in developed countries. Moreover, it will help the decision makers to get a semi-real vision about the rank of KSA corporations in particular and Saudi electronics, communications and photonics field in general.
The conference organizers attempt to set a fixed mechanism for the relationship between labor market, scientific industry and scientific search centers. Moreover, they seek to reflect the true picture of KSA to western countries in the presence of these international experts who will share their experiences in electronics, communications and photonics trying to build bridges of scientific cooperation between universities and other governmental corporations in one side and foreign private universities and corporations.
Dr. Hatem Bin Mohamed Behairy (the Chief of National Program for Electronics, Communications and Photonics in King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology declared that this conference is considered a special event at the level of scientific events organized in Middle East and North Africa in order to discuss the modern systems of electronics programming technologies. Also, it is a chance to discuss the new and recent ideas with researches results in the presence of scientists, researchers and specialists.
Dr. Hatem clarified that electronics industry is facing some challenges as shortage in Saudi human resources specialized in the modern systems. He referred to the investing companies which employed foreign employees to plug the local shortage. This reveals the importance of supporting researches and studies to develop the local industry, and also the developing of Saudi human resources in their positions.
The National Program for Electronics, Communications and Photonics is one of the strategic programs decided as a part of the national strategy for sciences, technology and inventions executed by King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology cooperating with some governmental authorities and private companies.
