The balanced Saudi policy constitutes the framework for dynamic activities in the Saudi relations with various countries round the world. This enables the Kingdom to achieve its supreme interests and attain the best results at the various levels. The Saudi-Chinese relations may be seen within this framework. Riyadh and Beijing have efficiently shortened the time and taken their bilateral relations to vast horizons for serving the common interests based on a political and economic accord achieving both countries' objectives. During the reception of Chinese Vice President of the State Council, King Salman commended the relations between the two friendly countries and important role of the high-level Joint Saudi-Chinese Committee with its Saudi side being headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and its Chinese side being headed by the Vice President of Chinese State Council Zhang Gaoli in upgrading the bilateral Saudi-Chinese cooperation. This indicates the joint desire between the two countries for the continuity of strategic relations to serve numerous interests for both parties. The relations are into full swing for further cooperation and common understanding in view of the strategic agreement. As for the crises striking the region and having international dimensions, China assumes an important role based on its balance policy as a permanent member in the Security Council. This role may be relied upon in finding solutions for such crises. Since Saudi Arabia also assumes an active role in the Arab, Islamic and international spheres aiming at the continuity of security and peace worldwide, constant coordination and consultation need be made between the two countries to enable peace to be achieved in reality based on their joint desire and supreme interests.
