Bangladesh Premier Receives OIC Chief in Dhaka

Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina Wazed received here today the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yusuf bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, currently on an official visit to Bangladesh.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest, particularly the worsening situation of Rohingya Muslim refugees and the war on the scourge of terrorism and violent extremism.
For his part, Dr. Al-Othaimeen expressed thanks and appreciation to Bangladesh for providing shelter to a large number of Rohingya refugees.
