Riyadh police have freed three Bangladeshi men held for ransom by a three-member gang. A media spokesman of the Riyadh Police said that on July 15, the police received a report that three Bangladeshis were lured to a resort by the gang, comprising a Bangladeshi man and woman and a Pakistani. The police freed the three persons who were unharmed, and arrested the abductors. The female member of the gang was an illegal resident. The police also seized 17 mobile phones, a fake plastic gun, and iron chains used to handcuff the victims. The criminals confessed to their crime. The Public Prosecutor Office in Riyadh has been notified of the incident for prosecuting the criminals.
