Kidnapped man freed

A kidnapped Bangladeshi man is found chained to a bed in Jeddah's Sabeel's district on Saturday night. Police raided the place on being tipped-off and arrested 12 suspected abductors, all Bangladeshis.
The unidentified victim said he was held for 48 hours, beaten, made to sign checks amounting to SR35,000, and even forced to call his home in Bangladesh so his family could pay his ransom.
