Qatar is living in a world of denial. Despite irrefutable evidence of its hostility towards the region, it continues to maintain a position of innocence. The media has exposed Qatar's falsehoods and has published evidence of it reneging on its commitments. The Qatari Emir had gone back on the pledges he had made in various written agreements. The country stands exposed, but remains obstinate and belligerent. Doha's evasive attitude in the face of unquestionable proof must be further uncovered so that the common Qatari understands how the country is ruled and what ideology it pursues. They must know how their country stirs trouble in other Arab countries to meet its own expansionist objectives. It is least concerned about the interests of its fellow Arabs and maintains its aggressive policies towards them. Qatar's policies lack strategic vision. They are merely based on political absurdity and the quest to fulfill ambitious ends, however unrealistic they may be. Its strings are being pulled from outside, without its national interests anywhere in sight. The Qatari regime believes that its wealth will prevail over the principled stand adopted by the region. It fails to realize that wealth cannot in any way substitute nationalism and the true sense of belonging to the region. What is appalling is that Qatar maintains its defense despite all the evidence around it of being a terror sympathizer. Rather than admitting its faults in the face of widespread condemnation, it tries to maintain a look of childish innocence. How long can Qatar maintain this deceptive front? The international media has already begun taking apart all those castles it is building in the air.
