Qatar is a true example of a state in chaos, unable to effectively manage even the falsehoods it has generated and which it is continuing to spread – though with little success. Countries and organizations which were reported by its Al-Jazeera channel to be supporting Qatar have denied such reports, leaving Doha completely exposed. Even the High Commissioner for Human Rights has issued a strongly-worded statement refuting Qatari fabrications. But such deception on the part of Qatar is nothing new. It has also submitted spurious documents to the International Court of Justice to strengthen its border case with Bahrain. On the other hand, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has praised the measures adopted by Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain to maintain aviation safety. This is also in contradiction to Qatari claims that the ICAO was supportive of its moves. In the past few days, the authorities in Qatar are failing in every way as they have entrusted all key decision-making processes to terrorist organizations and certain countries, all of whom are operating in their own selfish interests. All the wealth Qatar has accumulated is failing its people. Instead, their leaders are diverting it to the coffers of terrorists to make good their plans of sabotaging the Arab world. But for how long will Qatar continue on this dangerous path? The Qatari people are the biggest victims of the errant policies adopted by their leadership. No amount of falsehoods spread by Doha can ever cover this fact.
