Upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center inspected the projects implemented in Tajikistan to assist earthquake and flood victims The Advisor at King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Eng. Ahmed Al-Bayez, said that the team followed the progress of previous projects carried out in the affected areas, pointing out that the center signed yesterday, in the presence of Saudi Chargé d'Affaires in Tajikistan Badr bin Trahib Al Otaibi, a project to protect the areas and population of Tajikistan from the dangers of seasonal flooding adjacent to the Bang River in Hamdoni province with the Tajik Government, represented by the Agency for Land Reclamation. King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid's team delivered 50 tons of dates to the Republic of Tajikistan yesterday, as a gift given by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The delivering ceremony was attended by the Saudi Chargé d'affaires at the Saudi Embassy in Tajikistan, Badr bin Taraheeb Al-Otaibi, and a number of officials. King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center recently distributed 58 tons of dates in the Yemeni province of Lahj. The number of beneficiaries is 7250 families on the west coast of the governorate, including 21 villages, starting from Suqaya to Jihar, including Ras al-Aara and Kharaz camp, where there are a number of Taiz displaced People. The aid comes as part of the programs implemented by the center in Yemen, reached 130 programs in May, 2017, through 81 partners covered the regions and governorates of Yemen.
