King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid team has handed over 50 tons of dates as a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Gambia in the presence of the Chargé D'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Senegal Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Otaibi, a representative of the Saudi Ministry of Finance and Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ousainou Darboe. Another 130 tons of dates were delivered to The World Food Programme in Mauritania in the presence of the Saudi ambassador Haza' Al Mutairi and the representative of the Mauritanian government, adviser to the Food Security Commission, Mohamed El Amine Mohamed Abdallah, and the representative of the World Food Program in Mauritania Yasihiro. On the other hand, the King Salman Center has also distributed 100 tons of dates to displaced people in Al-Mukha Directorate in Taiz Governorate, Yemen. This assistance comes within the humanitarian and relief programs being provided by the Center to brothers in Yemen, totaling 127 projects implemented through 81 local and international partners until early May 2017.
