Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and with the presence of the ministers participating in the round table meetings of the Asian energy ministers and the G20 energy ministers, Riyadh will host the Asia Energy Efficiency Conference and Expo during the period from 30 October to 2 November 2017. To be organized at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center by the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources in cooperation with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Industry and the International Energy Forum (IEF), this conference aims to discuss the pressing issues causing the rise in energy consumption and enhance energy efficiency in the major consumption areas. The conference will shed light on the Kingdom's efforts in the energy efficiency area and its keenness to curb global climate change, as part of the international efforts in this field. This will be done through scientific sessions and panel discussions where the most important international best-practices and experiences in the area of energy efficiency will be presented. The Expo, to be held on the sidelines of the conference, will showcase the latest technologies and solutions by leading local and international companies in this field. Organizers of the Conference and its accompanying Expo hope that this international event will help in accelerating the global adoption of energy development and conservation efforts, enhancing dialogue between energy industry representatives, strengthening strategic partnerships and solutions to curb harmful emissions, developing modern technological tools, boosting innovation in the energy efficiency area and supporting the next generations and entrepreneurs.
