Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that his meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is positive and constructive, stressing identical visions and stances between the two brotherly countries on regional issues in various aspects. Al-Jubeir stressed depth of fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. In a press statement following his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, "During the meeting, we talked about the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and mechanisms of supporting them in the coming period in all economic, cultural, medical, educational and developmental fields," Al-Jubeir said. Al-Jubeir stressed that the meeting dealt with the situations in the region, particularly in Syria, Yemen and Libya, and importance of finding solutions for these issues in light of identical views between the two countries. He confirmed that the Kingdom and Egypt represent the two wings of the Arab region, pointing out the importance of permanent coordination between the two sides in order to achieve the best outcomes in the interest of the two brotherly peoples and the Arab and Islamic region. Al-Jubeir added that the Saudi-Egyptian relations are deep, strong, historical and strategic, stressing that the relations between the two countries are impeccable. "The relations will be always stronger in the future. I look forward to more constructive meetings with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri," he concluded. For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister lauded vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his meeting with King Salman recently today within the Egyptian delegation visiting the Kingdom, stressing depth of relations between the two countries. Shoukry lauded his meeting with Al-Jubeir, confirming importance of permanent coordination between the two sides. He pointed out that they agreed to hold periodic meetings between the two countries. The Egyptian minister stressed the need of the two brotherly countries to work side by side in the interest of the Arab national security.
