Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi received here at the presidential palace on Sunday Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir in the presence of the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and Saudi permanent representative to the Arab League Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan. During the meeting, Mr. Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Egyptian president who in turn asked him to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Al-Jubeir reiterated the depth of bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries and the need to strengthen their cooperation in all fields, particularly the fight against terrorism and the establishment of security, stability and balance in the region. In a statement after the meeting, the official Egyptian presidential spokesman Ambassador Ala'a Yousef said that President Al-Sisi stressed on the need to enhance cooperation between the two countries and joint coordination to confront various challenges and strengthen Arab solidarity at the current stage. Ambassador Yousef said they discussed the regional situation, especially in Syria, Yemen and Libya, as well as the need to reach a political solution to these crises to stop the bloodshed and preserve their territorial integrity as well as national institutions. He added that the Egyptian President stressed the importance of joint Arab force to achieve these goals, maintain Arab countries and preserve their people's capabilities, pointing out that this force is not directed against any party, but it has a clear message to reflect the ability of the Arabs to unite, line-up and defend their interests in the face of challenges.
