Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a message to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The message was handed to the Egyptian President during his meeting with Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir today in Cairo in the presence of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Saudi Minister of State and Cabinet member Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Said and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and the Permanent Representative to Arab League Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan. During the meeting, Al-Jubeir conveyed greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince to the Egyptian president, praising the solid historical relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples. In turn, the official Egyptian presidential spokesman Ambassador Ala'a Yousef said in a press statement today, that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi President stressed the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields, particularly the fight against terrorism and the establishment of security and stability, stressing the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and the importance of continuous coordination and consultation between them for supporting the Arab issues and facing challenges in the region. In a statement following the meeting today in Cairo, the Egyptian presidential spokesman explained that the two sides agreed to enhance Arab solidarity for achieving common Arab interests, stressing that supporting Arab solidarity will protect the Arab States from the dangers that are threatening them and confront any attempts to interfere in their internal affairs.
