The Sultan of the Kingdom of Malaysia has awarded the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa the highest Royal Medal of Honor "Dato Seri" as an appreciation for his efforts in promoting moderation globally. This medal, which gives its holder an exceptional appreciation and a full immunity within the Malaysian territory for life, was granted to Sheikh Muhammed to show the Malaysian appreciation for him in person and the Scholars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general for applying the values of moderation, harmony, coexistence and urbanization. Dr. Al-Issa, in his name and on behalf of the Saudi Scholars, thanked the Sultan of Malaysia for this high appreciation and he was honored to receive the kind invitation form the Sultan to visit Malaysia, which is considered a successful proof must be followed in moderation and coexistence between different religions and cultures for many years. During his visit to Malaysia, Dr. Al-Issa also met the former Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi, Minister of Religious Affairs Minister Mr. Jamil Khair Bahroum and Minister of Higher Education Idriss Jossoh. Sheikh Muhammad also held a meeting with the President of the Senate of Malaysia Senator SE Feng Swan who thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for establishing "King Salman Center for World Peace" which express the extent of convergence between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Dr. Al-Issa, who is considered by the Malaysians society as one of the most important scholars of the Islamic nation, was invited to give a speech on moderation in the Institute of Mediation of the Malaysian Council of Ministers to promote the tolerance and coexistence aspects and values among all sects of the society. University of Science also hosted Dr. Muhammad to give the opening speech on the real Islamic values of coexistence and tolerance that he stressed on in his speech to be considered as important methods of inherent consciousness and behavior, not just theories.
