The European Parliament confirmed after hosting the conference of Islam and Islamophobia in Brussels in the final recommendations statement of the conference on considering the speech which was delivered by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, during the conference as an essential working document in that field.
Dr. Muhammed has warned in his speech of the extremist reaction against Islam as a result of what is known as the phenomenon of "Islamophobia", indicating that it will generate more sufferings and increase numbers of extremists who were before normal moderate persons coexisting with their societies in non-Muslim countries and respecting their constitutions, laws and cultures.
Sheikh Muhammad also explained the Muslim World League aims and its new vision, which designed to promote and intermediate concepts of centrist Islam and promote tolerance, love and goodwill values, in addition to emphasizing the role of scholars in the consolidation of those entrenched values in the consciousness of Islamic moderation and fight against extremism.

He added that scholars, preachers and thinkers in the Muslim world should intensify their efforts to confront extremism and terrorism. They need to stop this poison from spreading among the Islamic youth by explaining the legitimate position of some of the controversial issues employed by extremism to serve its objectives after achieving victories in the promotion of fallacies and illusions.
Dr. Muhammad said also that the Muslim World League believes that any country has the right to protect its security and to achieve its legitimate interests methods, and anything against that is not excepted. So, what is done by any government for defending and protecting the citizens and their security is a legitimate right and no one should criticize that or refuse it or even stand against it.
The speech of the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa, has been appreciated by the attendance of the Islam and Islamophobia conference, whom they were senior officials from European parliamentarians, politicians, a number of followers of religions and cultures, and leaders and activists of Muslim communities in Europe and around the world.
