King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid has provided, since the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated it on 24/7/1436 AH, a number of relief and humanitarian works for Yemen. The number of projects reached 123 with a total value of $ 584,390,339, while the number of partners in the programs reached 81. The number of projects of programs of food security, sheltering and camp management and coordination reached 44 projects with a total value of $ 238 million that benefited 20 million beneficiaries, while the number of partners in the programs reached 24 partners. The projects in the field of education, protection and early recovery program reached 16 projects with a total value of $ 78,176,921 benefited 3,914,236 persons, while the number of partners reached 12. In health, nutrition, water and environmental sanitation, the Center has provided 53 projects amounting to $ 211,489,369 that benefited 27,780,814 persons and partners in this field reached 42. As for communications in emergency cases, logistics projects, and support and coordination of humanitarian operations, the Center has allocated 10 projects in this aspect that benefited 15,657 persons through four partners amounting to $ 56,948,162. It is worth mentioning that King Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief and Aid has been praised by heads of states, leaders of community, international and regional organizations working in the fields of relief and humanitarian services, and visitors to the Center, also commended its ways of providing professional services through specialized teams in this field. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia topped the world in the size of its international assistance with an average of 1.9% of its gross national income.
