Security forces have arrested a Saudi citizen for killing another in Al-Muzahmiyya province. A Riyadh Police spokesman, Col. Fawaz Al-Mayman, said that the joint efforts between the police in Riyadh and Madinah had resulted in the arrest. The killer resisted arrest and brandished a knife when he was stopped at a checkpoint on the Madinah-Mahd Addahab highway. The killer was handed over to the Riyadh Police for investigation prior to being prosecuted.
