Murder suspect apprehended

MADINAH — Police arrested a murder suspect on Friday in Al-Mahd governorate where he escaped to after allegedly committing the crime in Al-Niairiyah governorate in the Eastern Province. Madinah Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Fahd Al-Ghannam said they received reports of the alleged murderer fleing the Eastern Province and was headed toward Al-Mahd governorate. Police set up roadblocks at all entrances to the province and eventually stopped a vehicle on Afif-Al-Mahd Highway. Police asked the driver of the vehicle to stop but he attempted to flee and police gave a chase. Police found a number of illegal immigrants inside the vehicle including the murder suspect.
