Bridgestone is Drift Champ Falah Al-Juraba's Official Tire
Published in Alriyadh on 28 - 03 - 2017

The Bridgestone tire brand has become the official rubber of Saudi drift and drag racing champion Falah Al-Juraba. According to the sponsorship deal between Al-Talayi, the sole distributor of Bridgestone tires in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and FGR Racing, Juraba will be running Bridgestone tires throughout the 2016-2017 racing season.
The Bridgestone brand logo will appear on the front and rear spoilers of every race car he drives, as well as his racing apparel. Bridgestone posters and stickers will be given away at all events he will participate in.
"I'm so glad to have signed this sponsorship deal with Al-Talayi," said Juraba. "I'm so excited to be drifting with Bridgestone tires and sponsorship. My racing war cry is, ‘in God and Bridgestone I trust,' and I'm confident that Bridgestone tires are a perfect match for this war cry. I'm always positive that these tires will be absolutely reliable in every tense moment of every racing discipline. They are the number one tires in the world, and the toughest tires, not only for normal everyday driving, but especially for drifting and drag racing."
Engineer Al-Muhannad Hafiz, Director of Marketing at Al-Talayi, was equally upbeat. "We are enthusiastic about this deal because captain Falah Al-Juraba is the top drift and drag champion in the region," he said. "We are positive that the attachment of his name to the Bridgestone brand will help us get our message across and achieve our objectives, most important of which is to spread awareness among young lovers of racing not to endanger themselves and others with reckless driving, and to practice their beloved sport safely and drive safely.
"We hope that our sponsorship of Captain Juraba would help popularize drift racing throughout the Kingdom and turn it into a mass audience sport, so as to bring together the community of racing fans and encourage them to practice their sport only on purpose-built tracks."
Bridgestone tires are known the world over for their quality, durability on every road surface, and performance, which improves the handling of any vehicle, be it a supercar or supermini or a heavy hauler. They are designed specifically to withstand the hot climates of the Arabian Gulf region.
Al-Talayi Co. Ltd. is the exclusive distributor of Bridgestone tires in the Saudi market.
