Our security forces have time and again demonstrated their valor and efficiency in busting anti-national elements, as has been proven once again this week. The world recognizes our security capabilities and strength in tackling any form of terror threats against the nation. One such recognition came from the CIA when it awarded Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, the Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, the George Tenet Prize for his unflinching support for intelligence operations against terrorist elements. Our brave men are amidst us in the cities and towns, and at our borders, guarding the frontier day and night. They are standing guard on land, at sea and in the air safeguarding us against any form of enemy assault. When we see and read about their courage, we can only feel a strong sense of gratitude to them. They have made it a lifetime commitment to be true to the nation, sacrificing their lives for their love of the country and its people. Words of praise are not enough to express the indebtedness the people have for our valiant men. We are indeed proud of them. We hear stories about their valor, about the wounds they incur on the battlefield, the lives lost. The soldiers rarely speak about their heroism, considering it a national duty. The injured recover and proudly go back to the battlefield, ready once again to take on the enemies. We salute these men in uniform. They are our men of steel, ever ready to defend the nation, to fight for justice. We owe it to them.
