The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has participated in the Global Summit Forum on Information Society 2016, currently ongoing in Geneva and will last on Friday. In recognition of its pavilion's high profile, the Kingdom was awarded several awards and prizes, Dr. Khalid Minlawe, Deputy Permanent Representative of the delegation of the Kingdom to Geneva United Nations announced, citing the electronic commercial prize, the Ministry of Health's overseas treatment project, the Ministry of Education's scholarship program. For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdualziz has received early this year the information and telecommunications technology in the field of sustainable development from the Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Union Hollin Zhao.
