The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud honored the winners of King Abdulaziz Book Award in its second session, and award and grant of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for studies and research of the history of the Arabian Peninsula in its sixth session for 2015/2016, both presented by King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah). This came during the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' reception at Al-Yamamah palace here today of Advisor at the Royal Court and Darah's Acting Secretary General, Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari and the winners of the two prizes in their current sessions. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques congratulated the two award winners, praising their scientific efforts to serve the history of the Kingdom and the Arabian Peninsula. He stressed the importance of giving care and attention to the history and briefing generations on the history of parents and grandparents as well as on the history filled with achievements and their roles in the establishment of the solid foundations of this country based on the Holy Quran and Sunnah. For his part, Dr. Fahd Al-Samari delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his unlimited interest and support for King Abdulaziz Foundation until it became a beacon and a reference to the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula. After that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques honored the winners by handing them over the certificates of King Abdulaziz Award for Book. The winners were Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Aboudi; Dr. Abdurrahman bin Suleiman Al-Muzaini; Dr. Rashid bin Saad Al-Qahtani; Awad Ali Al-Sabali Al-Zahrani; Dr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Deghiri; Saleh bin Mudah Al-Jadani, and Masha'ah bint Juhaym bin Maqboul Al-Otaibi The winners of the Award and Grant of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for Studies, Research and History of the Arabian Peninsula were Dr. Ismail bin Mohammed Al-Beshri; Dr. Suleiman bin Abdurrahman Al-Dheeb; Dr. Khalid bin Hamoud Al-Sadoun; Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashid Al-Senaidi; Dr. Al-Jawharah bint Abdulaziz Al-Saadoun; Dr. Badria bint Abdulaziz Al-Busairi; Rima bint Saleh Al-Jarnas and Rasha bint Ibrahim Al-Fawaz. The reception and winners' honoring ceremony were attended by the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir.
