Winners of "Prince Salman Prizes and Grants for Research and Studies on History of Arabian Peninsula" Honored

Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives and Chairman of the Supreme Commission of Prince Salman Prizes and Grants for Research and Studies on History of Arabian Peninsula, patronized here today an award ceremony of Prince Salman Prizes 2012.
A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.
Then, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz handed over the "Award for Excellence in Research and Studies on History of Arabian Peninsula" to Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz also honored Dr. Maha bint Abdullah Al-Sinan and Dr. Dayel bin Ali Al-Khalidi, winners of PhD Thesis Award; Wadha bint Mohammed Al-Shahrani and Fahd bin Saleh Al-Nughaimish, winners of Master's Thesis Award; Dr. Mohammed bin Faris Al-Jameel, Dr. Layla bint Saleh Zaazou and Issam bin Ahmad Mudeer, winners of Book Award; Dr. Abdulnasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani, winner of Scientific Article Award; and Sheikh Abu Abdulrahman bin Aqeel Al-Dhaheri, Dr. Layla bint Saleh Al-Bassam, Abdulkarim bin Mahmoud Al-Khatib and Hijab bin Yahya Al-Hazmi, winners of Award for Excellence in Research and Studies on History of Arabian Peninsula.
