Prince Salman Chair Holds Workshop

Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Chair for Historical and Civilization Studies of Arabian Peninsula has held its first workshop at the headquarters of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (DARAH).
In an inaugural speech, Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari, Secretary General of Darah and Executive Advisor and Chairman of Scientific Commission of the Chair expressed the thanks of historians and researchers for Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, who is also Chairman of Board of Directors of Darah for supporting historians and researchers in the field of history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Arabian Peninsula.
Under the patronage of Prince Salman, King Saud University and Darah signed a contract for the establishment of the Chair in the month of Muharram, 1431.
