Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the Arab League and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan said that air traffic of Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) from and to Egypt has recently witnessed a significant activity, due to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to intensify the national carrier's air traffic between the two countries. He stressed that this activity reflects the depth of relations between the two brotherly countries and benefits directly the policies of cooperation and exchanges between them. He further said that SAUDIA continued to operate flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the city of Sharm el-Sheikh in support of tourism in Egypt, in addition to starting flights from Cairo to Tabuk to become the 6th station to the Kingdom after (Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, Dammam and Abha) stations, and also running the flights (Luxor / Jeddah / Luxor) to suit the development of the desired air traffic following the expected economic partnerships and increasing the volume of trade between the two brotherly countries.
