His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received yesterday at Al Bahr Palace Marzouq Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Kuwait National Assembly and his accompanying delegation. Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Al Ghanim and his accompanying delegation and wished further progress and development for Kuwait. H.H. emphasized the UAE's commitment under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to further bolster fraternal and historic ties with Kuwait. The meeting discussed ways of enhancing these relations in various fields within the framework of the Emirati-Kuwaiti leaderships' keenness to strengthen joint consultation and coordination in matters that serve the common interests of the GCC and strengthen its institutions. For his part, Al Ghanim said he was delighted at visiting the UAE, highlighting the bonds of fraternity, cooperation, solidarity and common history. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments and topics of mutual concern.
