Said Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Zayani, that their Highnesses and the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council have received yesterday evening a call from the State of the United States Minister John Kerry, where briefed them on the details of the agreement reached on Tuesday between the countries of Group 5 + 1 and Iran on the Iranian nuclear program. Secretary-General said: "The Highnesses and foreign ministers expressed their appreciation to contact Kerry them, and expressed the hope that the agreement to remove concerns over Iran's nuclear program leads in order to preserve security and stability in the region, and avert a nuclear arms race." He added that US Secretary of State stressed the US commitment to the results of the US Gulf summit in Camp David recently, and to continue coordination and consultation and intensify efforts with the GCC countries so as to contribute to the development of common interests and promote security and stability in the region, pointing out that the two sides agreed to hold a meeting between them in the region soon.
