The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States held a meeting here today with the US Secretary of State John Kerry. The GCC delegation was led by Qatari Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, who is also chairman of the GCC Ministerial Council, with participation of GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir. In a press statement, Al-Zayani announced that the GCC foreign ministers have discussed, during the meeting, with the US Secretary of State the agenda of the GCC-US Summit to be held in Washington and the Camp David on 13-14, May, 2015. The GCC Secretary General added that the meeting dealt with the GCC-US relations and means to promote and enhance them in addition to issues of common interest, including the Yemeni crisis, the situation in Syria, Iran's nuclear file, counter-terrorism and means to consolidate security and stability in the region.
