Based on keenness of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for unifying and removing obstacles between the Arab Republic of Egypt and State of Qatar in various fields and at all levels, particularly what have been broadcasted by media outlets associated with the two countries. Confirming what have been stated in Riyadh two agreements signed in 23/11/2013 and 11/16/2014 containing the commitment of all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States of the council's policy towards supporting the Arab Republic of Egypt and contributing in its security and stability. And due to appreciation expressed by our brothers in both countries for the initiative of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud which called upon the two countries to consolidate relations between them, unify stance and remove reasons aiming to provoke conflict and discord between them and in a response to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' invitation for reform, both countries have responded to that invitation upon their full conviction of the initiative's supreme contents in the interest of the two countries and two peoples. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed its welcome regarding ongoing steps that will strengthen relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of Qatar, including the visit made by Special Envoy of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to Egypt. Under leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed its support and keenness on opening a new page between the two countries for enhancing integration and cooperation between the two countries to achieve higher interests of the Arab and Islamic nations, hoping of all honorable scientists, intellectuals, writers and men of the media outlets responding and supporting this step. We ask Allah Almighty to deepen bonds of brotherhood between the two brotherly countries and enhance their relations and strengthen common interest of the two countries to confront the challenges facing the region. Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi received here today Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Chief of the Royal Court and Private Secretary and Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman Al Thani, Assistant of the Qatari Foreign Minister and Envoy of Qatari emir Sheikh Tammim bin Hamad Al Thani for this mission.
