President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt valued sincere efforts made by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud aimed at achieving unity among the Arab countries and the rejection of the division in the framework of full respect for the will of the people and non-interference in the internal affairs of states. In a statement after Egyptian President's reception yesterday at the presidential headquarters in Cairo of the private secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his special envoy in this task Khalid bin Abdulaziz Altwaijri and Special Envoy of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the spokesman of the Egyptian presidency Ambassador Alaa Youssef said, "President Al-Sisi welcomed the two honorable guests, stressing that Egypt is looking forward to a new era without past disagreements as the precarious current stage requires giving priority to unity and sincere work with a common vision achieving the hopes and aspirations of the Arab peoples." The Egyptian president expressed full agreement with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in his appeal to all intellectuals and journalists to respond to the initiative and support it in order to move forward in strengthening the Egyptian-Qatari relations in particular and the Arab relations in general.
